lyrics
When the lights go out
The scattered voices fade
Unified return
And gaze
The amber slowly rises
Flooding over me
The golden light of idols
On me
When the amber fades
A brighter house returns
The voices further scatter
Disappear
But I’ve been bathed in amber
My gilded tongue remains
My mountain of delusion
Now hear
I'll bathe in the light
And I'll captivate
My presence is known
By warm amber waves
Go into the night
And pontificate
With wisdom bestowed
By warm Amber
When I see the sun
Persona stays awake
Giving all the people
What they want
I'll bathe in the light
And I'll captivate
My presence is known
By warm amber waves
Go into the night
And pontificate
With wisdom bestowed
By warm Amber
In the fluorescence
And blue band of day
Seems no one here noticed
That I’m something greater
In the dim light of evening
My sweet daughter cries
I’m gone as I’m singing
This sweet lullaby
What have I become?
What good have I done?
All this bastard amber
It never meant a thing
To anyone
I'll bathe in the light
And I'll captivate
My presence is known
By warm amber waves
Go into the night
Return to my place
With wisdom bestowed
By warm amber
So glad to have discovered this great band. Heard first on the Thought Radio show last week. Great melodies over powerful Prog Rock with many beautiful moments. This is something special. I am getting a bit of a Rush type vibe but much more also. What an album this is and I will need to get the CD also. Too many great tracks to chose a best one yet. thirdsystem
This is an incredible music album, when you're listening this album you're teleporting your self to another multidimensional world

The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
Although the 3 guest vocalists on this album sing wonderfully, and the songs are diverse and creative, I still prefer the voice of Peter Falconer. Still, I highly recommend this album, aware that my preference is somewhat of a bias. Some of the guitar playing on here is incredible. Despite the new vocalists, the sound of this album is still distinctly Drifting Sun. Personally, I give it 7.5/10. Alrihkh
As with previous releases this is a solid album from start to finish which continues the storyline, themes and signatures perfectly.
'Enigma' and 'Another Same' are on par with or superior to many commercial offerings by established prog artists.
The Waters, Wilson and Hayward influences shine through once more but I also hear song writing very much in the style of Difford and Tilbrook, 'Trough of War' & 'Another Same' probably being the best examples.
These chaps are the real deal!
